Fair Fashion Instead of Fast Fashion – City Climate Summit Kick-off Event

On 2 October 2025, a launch event was held in Łódź to announce the upcoming City Climate Summit, scheduled for May 2026.

The meeting addressed key issues related to the development potential of the Polish textile sector and its competitiveness in Europe and globally. It also presented the preliminary programme of the conference and opportunities for partnership.

The event was co-created by Aleksandra Włodarczyk, founder of Fashion Futures, European Climate Ambassador and author of the Świadomy Konsument Mody blog. Guests included industry representatives (including Tatuum) as well as Polish innovators within the fashion sector.

An accompanying exhibition allowed participants to directly engage with innovative materials and learn about emerging textile technologies. The programme also included a closed workshop for fashion professionals, serving as a starting point for broader discussions on environmentally responsible transformation within the industry.
